One's was made in Mt. Vernon. That is, when the company was located in Mt. Vernon and still the original Bach company. Not after the company was engulfed and devoured and moved. Some would say that the Mt. Vernon is sure to be to Vincent's standards and that the others are a mass produced crap shoot....you decide.

Re: What's the difference?

Bach retooled a few times, Benge got the Mt. Vernon tooling, but with re-sharpening over the years all of the dimensions morphed. Mark Curry makes replicas based on the original Mt. Vernon rims (CNC helps!). Worth checking out, but there re a heck of a lot of good mouthpieces on the market.

Have fun!

They are both lumps of silver plated brass that beg to be tried out before making a decision. Most trumpet players are hard of hearing and therefore buy what they think is cooler.
The difference between those pieces is about the same as the difference between yours and my embouchure. They both have potential if they are used by the right person in the right way!
