    Any trombone mouthpiece?

    Sorry, I couldn´t resist

But you definitely need to be a bit more specific.

Sorry I'm not going to lie when it come to mouthpieces im rubbish! I'm basically looking for a wide rim trumpet mouthpiece because I struggle playing on a normal/small rim trumpet mouthpiece.

The "CW" Bachs, the Parduba (both vintage) the Rieds Comfo-rim, Rudy Mucks, these are all fat, wide rim pieces

Can you give us more information as to why the smaller rim mouthpiece doesn't work? There is the rim diameter and the rim itself and it is hard to tell which might be giving you trouble.

Re: Wide Rim and Deep Cup mouthpiece

The Schilke "D" cups are deep, and the 4 rims are wider than the standard 3 (not numbered) rims.

So a pretty deep wide rim Schilke would be a 13D4 or a 17D4 or 17D4d (has a wider backbore) or for something huge, a 20D4d.

I'm looking for a Cup between 0.650 or 0.645 (inches). Thinking about possibly a 5C Megatone mouthpiece? Opinion?

Those aren't necessarily wide, middle of the road. I play on a Warburton 5 which is .650". It's not wide and it's not small. A Warbuton 6 is .640. You're likely looking at a MC or MD cup or deeper.

You may also want to look at Reeves 41 or 42.

Not if you're a tuba player.

Laskey mouthpieces tend to have rims that a bit flatter and wider.

The "F" or "W" Girdinelli mouthpieces sold by Kanstul might also work.
