Last I heard it was around $600, but if you had the "code" from someone that already had one they would knock it down to $500.

That was 2 or 3 years back, might have changed.

Thanks. Any suggestions for an equally good case/gig bag for trumpet/flugel that might not break the bank?

If you want something good you will have to pay for it. Something that offers that much protection, holds that many horns and is that light/small will not come cheap.

"Equally good"... NO

"Reasonably good".... Protec PB 301VAX. Check to make sure your horns fit first though.

Skuni: I have owend alot of cases and NONE finer then a Wiseman. It is expensive but when you consider Howard's lifetime replacement guarentee it is worth it. This is from their website: "If anything goes wrong with your case we will pay for postage and package both ways as well as the repair. We will also happily overhaul any case for free with the customer paying P & P."

If you are interested in the 10% discount PM me and I will send my code. It really is a wonderful case that is strong enough to even go on a plane's cargo hole but it is so small, even the double and triple case, that you will have no problem taking it on the plane with you. They also have worldclass service. When I bought mine I was going to Europe on a gig and was concerned about getting it in time. Due to a delay in materials at the time, Howard called me to tell me not to worry and he would make sure and get it to me asap at his expense in plenty of time. When it was finished he overnighted it from England to Texas! Needless to say I was impressed. Hand craftmenship and service is a hallmark of this comany and you will not go wrong if you should chose to go with them. I hope this helps.

P.S. If you order a case from Howard be sure and have Leigh at Eclipse first fill it with a horn worthy of such a great case ha.
