| Yamaha 12f3d flugel mp info ? My Yamaha 631 came witha a 12f3d mp. I love the sound with this mp, dark yet mellow (almost french horn sounding). However, it's just too small now that I'm playing flugel pretty much fulltime. I bought a Warburton 4FL, which is very comfortable, but I think makes the sound to dark - more like a trombone. I've looked all over the internet to find the specs on the 12f3d, but haven't been able to do so. Anybody know if the current line of Yamaha flugel mp's compare to the older style 12f3d? I was thinking I would try a 16F4? Anybody played these? Anybody tried a Warburton on a Yamaha 631 and find it too dark and successfully switch to something else? |

| I did - They don't list the 12f3d, so I can't compare it to the others. Also, none of the Yamaha flugel mp's listed have the 5th character (which according to mouthpieceexpress is the bore)... |
