yamaha 9C4 and Bach 5C

i've got a couple of questions about these two mouthpieces. to me they look almost exacly the same, are they?
this summer i bought a bach strad off ebay and it came with a bach 5C and a 7C. of course when my trumpet arrived in the mail i wanted to try it so i went to go get my yamaha 9C4 but i couldn't find it, so i used the 5C. i don't like it very much because it is kind of "slippery", anyway i have been usind it ever since because i couldn't find my yamaha. i just recently found my yamaha 9C4, and am using it again and i like it so much better than the bach. to me the yamaha felt like i had a depper cup than the 5C. which bach mouthpiece is the yamaha 9C4 the same as?

Re: yamaha 9C4 and Bach 5C

My guess would be the 7C, but in reality, who cares? The Yamaha 9C4 has a different rim shape than either the 5C or 7C, I believe, but if helps you attain your desired results with greater ease, shouldn't that be all that matters? The mouthpiece police aren't going to be knocking down your front door anytime soon, so don't worry about it.
