![]() | This is just my experience. I have found the Yamaha model to have a more comfortable rim and a rounder core to the sound (it does sizzle, just doesn't spread). The diameter to cup depth ratio works better for me as well. Both brands are pretty tight blowing so you have to back off. I think it is a little more difficult to "muscle" around the Yamaha, you really need to relax to play it efficiently. The Marcinkiwecz (I never spell that right) rim (to me) feels like it has a more defined inner diameter but the sound doesn't center as well. They were a bit easier to overblow but that is a feature I did not care for. If you are going to overblow a lead piece, eventually it is going to stop working for you. I hope this helps you a little. Most of my experience has been with the Yamaha. I will say though, I hardly ever use this piece unless I am playing ALL lead.
