Very cool! I didn’t get out to see them this year, but I could hear them rehearsing every weekend from my backyard! I’m glad to see that Mark and his team have assembled a fantastic group. I hope they continue to make the trip to finals for many years to come.

SCV is moving up, I'd love to see them finish top 5 tomarow!
I'm afraid everything else is pretty much set, hopefully Phantom can pull off an amazing show tomarow and move up to second at least, still keeping my fingers crossed for first, but Cavies are going to have to make some major mistakes to loose first. (don't get me wrong, I would never want to see a corps mess up bad like that, so we'll just have to hope Phantom does everything perfect I guess)

I must say, it came out a lot closer than it looked like it was going to the last couple days. Academy got a litle to close for comfort to second place, and Phantom ALMOST pulled off an amazing come from behind.

Next year is Phantoms year. The last three years they've gotten 4th, then 3rd, now 2nd... So there's an obvious pattern, next year will be exciting. I have a feeling SCV will come on strong next year too.

Well, the season is over and my predictions (made on July 30) were close, but not real close. This shows the actual placement verses my personal placement on 7/30. The best thing is that I still like my order of finish better than DCI's.

By the way, now that it is over, my favorite corps this year by far was the Crossman. I loved the show and I loved the enthusiasm of the corps.

As for your prediction about Phantom next year, I sure hope you are right. I thought they should have won it all this year so I hope they do well next year. I will say that if there is someone better than them I hope Phantom does not win. I wish there would be no politics involved with DCI but that will never happen.

As for SCV, they are advertising for a new corps director. If someone good gets it they could do very well next season. I hope that Allan Dekko is the choice. I think that he is the man to make SCV the great corps they were a few year ago.
