![]() ![]() ![]() | 24 This is a spoiler thread. If you want to read it, highlight the white text! If you didn't see it yet, don't. WOW!!! Great ending to that plot! Wrapped it all up. Jack was brilliant! As we're watching I said to my son...."What do we do now? he has to get Audrey, I still think she is alive." My son said "Yeah! the Chinese have her." Sure enough! But what a great ending to this one!!!!1 Great show!!!! Best show on television! -cw-

![]() | Re: 24 As much as I love this show & being my favorite, it's becoming much to predictable. The writers aren't nearly as original, contemplative, & deep as they were the first 3 years. Last night, the plot became pretty hokey at the end. They finally capture "bad dude # 1", stage an elaborate fake escape, then risk all the bananas as Jack, single handedly (a lone pistola against multi-men assault machine guns) starts blasting to attempt to bring down the whole enchillatta by himself. What happened to calling for backup, re-enforcements? Not very believable or realistic. I'll still tune in next week to see the unfolding of Audrey's rescue. Any bets that Jack's dad has a role in it, or gets woven back into the script soon? |

![]() | Re: 24 I think a certain amount of predictability is part of the fun (for those who watch the show for that reason). I love trying to "out-dammit" Jack. That is, predict when he's going to say it and say it with him. I love trying to "out-fine" Chloé. I love the look she gets on her face whenever she gets frustrated and says that. I've experienced the show differently from most of you as I started watching it this season and have spent MANY hours renting from Netflix to catch up on the past seasons. I'm enjoying it to pieces. We're in the middle of season five and pre-mourning that we'll be relegated to enjoying it week-by-week as do most other folks. ML |
