![]() | Re: Ballet for anybody? No, not just for anybody, according to that phenomenal use of the body. That's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. But, as I think you're suggesting, it's something for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for finding that. ML |

| Forte User | Re: Ballet for anybody? I can't view that right now, because youtube is filtered. But Manny's comment made me think about the first time I ever really gave serious thought about male ballet dancers. Commonly, I questioned their masculinity, as is the normal joke. Then, I saw White Nights, with Barishnikov and Gregory Hines. The opening sequence, where Barishnikov dances solo, a capella, completely changed my thinking. Grace, strength, beauty of motion, man... I was floored. It was one of those life-altering moments. I had found a new and humbling respect for ballet dancers.

![]() | Re: Ballet for anybody? I have seen many professional ballets but this one is truly phenomenal. For those who can not view this, most ballerinas work out and perform on the solid flat surface of a stage but this one performs off the arms, shoulders and head of her partner…..and on one point.
