That's a good one! Reminds me of the old Bill Cosby routines about him and his brother not getting to sleep right away and then the father shows up with... THE BELT!!!

Too bad the Canadian government has lost its sense of humor. Ours isn't any better, I suspect. Seems to be a lot of that going around these days.

That's pretty weak on the Canadian government's end. It's a freakin' pillow after all.

Plus he does strike out a lot, so it might not even make contact 1 out of 5/6 times!

Well, to be fair, the "Television Bureau of Canada" is a "preeminent centre for media information about Television" and is NOT a government body. If you read the article on the CBC website, they are self-regulating and ARE showing the full ad.

But... I agree.... another case of PC gone wild.

That's very edifying because here we have the FCC that would enforce things when the local stations don't. But they all have to follow FCC requirements. So, with that model I assumed a government body would have made the decision.

But, yeah, it's lame.
