Pure Music (197?) had songs written by Jim Peterik, who was with the band "Ides of March" (aka March 15th). I think Peterik also sang backup on that album, right?

Right on! The first release also had a Peterik penned song, "Boys and girls Together." The Ides of March were a horn band, sort of, with two trumpets.

I don't know the history, but I sure like the music. Nothin' like a rcok band with 5 screamin' trpts all in cascades and stuff...
