Chatroom

Here's one for all you guys and gals. We happen to have a chatroom with this here trumpety forum. Now, just supposing... what would happen if folks actually started using it instead of letting it sit and "occupy space"? I mean.. maybe someone like Manny or Wilmer might even pop in for a moment or two! Remember when we used to "meet" Leigh in there?

OK, OK.. I know that the chatroom isn't quite as "user friendly" as perhaps MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger (those are good alternatives too)... and I know that it is difficult to have "set meeting times" what with time zones and all...

But just supposing when you logged into TM you opened a second window by clicking on "Chat" (it does that yano) and hanging about for 10, 20 minutes while you surfed the latest posts? You never know who you might meet up with. (Hey, it's worth a try and it being Christmas time and all, folks might be home a little more for the next two or three weeks than normally).

Just a thought.

hmm, interesting. I tried making a separate room for equipment that would act as one of the default rooms and it didn't work.

But it's really not that hard. To get into one of the default rooms (default, Myroom1 and Myroom2), simply type your username in the space provided. For a default room, you shouldn't need a password, however, to create your own room, and probably to get into a custom room, you will need to register, and that only takes like 2 min tops.

Well, after this last week, I'll be done with school until next month, sometime (lol). I'll be sure to start up the chatroom everytime I'm on from now on.
