![]() | Re: Choke Job! As a rabid Wolverine fan, I dusted off my U-M Varsity letterman's jacket, and went to a Rose Bowl party, and what a letdown it was!! :(:( The Wolverine got beaten like a drum!!! I think this calls ofr a changes in the Coaching Staff. Plus, we need a QB that is more mobile, and who doesnt get psychologically flustered when under pressure. And a new oofensive coordinator who can call imaginative plays, and who can adapt to the defensive schemes of the opposing teams. I should have watched the Boise State-Oklahoma game instead. Chuck - are you as sad as I am today?

![]() ![]() | Re: Choke Job! I was totally disugsted!! Once again Michigan takes a very good team to California and gets it handed to them. All that talent goes down the drain. I think they must all be watching the beautifully tanned USC cheerleaders instaed of thinking football. And I mean the COACHES!!!!! The best column so far...echos my sentiments exactly... http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...701020398/1122 GO BUCKS!!! WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPONSHIP!! -cw-

![]() | Re: Choke Job! Yeah, the USC cheerleaders did look hot! They had better outfits than the Michigan cheerleaders...... "California girls are the greatest in the world..........." I need to come back in another life as a beach bum. At least I have half of that right (the bum part, I mean) Btw, if OSU does not win, all heck will break loose. The BCS would have to award the championship to Boise State. Last edited by Mikey; 01-03-2007 at 07:42 AM. |

Have the California teams play in the midwest cold sometime. And not in October in the non-conference schedule. But the bottom line is Michigan, once again, goes out west and lays a tremendous egg. Out coached and still using their stubborn "Do it our way" approach. The need a new philosophy. ...and Mikey, yeah, if OSU should lose, (but they won't) what do they do with Boise State??? -cw-

| Forte User | Re: Choke Job! Don't follow -- though I don't get Hewitt's show around these parts (luckily, though, 100.3 reaches down here so I get some good listening in anyway). Is Hewitt a Michigan or tOSU fan? BTW--I sure hope you're right, Chuck. I have a lot of confidence in Mr. Smith as the X factor, but you just never know. Nobody thought Miami could be beaten in the 2002/3 Fiesta Bowl, either, and look what happened.... The record USC has against the big ten, especially in bowl games, is truly amazing, however. I don't know why, but they seem to own big-Ten(11) schools in the bowl games. Perhaps the travel has a lot to do with it. The Rose is effectively a home game for USC, while Michigan has to travel a very long distance; that might explain why one looked so lethargic and distracted while the other was focused and ready to go. Then again, it may just be the cheerleaders...definitely a different dress code and standard of, er, appearance....
