| Forte User | Common decency and consideration This happened this weekend. I thought about it for a while. Kind of goes handd in hand with the swearing and young people thing, I think. Where is the consideration among people lately? I went fly fishing this weekend. (Trout season opened Saturday). When I arrived at my favorite spot, I was happy to see no cars there. I had the river to myself. I fished a while, ate lunch overlooking the falls roaring about 20 feet below, in the shafts of sun amidst groves of pines. Beautiful place. I went farther down the trail,re-entered the river, and changed to a brighter color fly, as I was having no luck even getting one to rise. When I finished tying it on the end of my leader, I looked up and saw someone casting into the pool below me, downstream from where I stood, looking right at me. There is only 1 way down to that section, and I came through it first. This person came along behind me, saw me, saw where I was going, and plunked down in front of me. Worm-dunker, no less. Thoroughly disgusted, I turned and left. Decency? Respect? What has happened to those things?
