 | Craigs List craigslist: san francisco bay area classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events A friend turned me onto this site the other day. has anyone here had experience buying or selling. Cheaper than Ebay but looks a bit primitive.  |

 | Re: Craigs List It is great. Since most people won't ship their items, it means you can play test anything you want to buy. I have bought an antique horn or two off of there, as well as sold things on there. It is great because it is just like the want ads in the news paper. No middle man like Paypal and Ebay. |

| Re: Craigs List There is no buyer protection because you are dealing with the seller in person. It is up to you to play test and inspect everything you buy from there, just like the days before Ebay. The site is meant to be used for the city you live in, not for items to be shipped around the world like ebay. |
