Customer Service

I felt that I had to share this with you all.

I like to recognize ANY good service I get from anywhere.

As a "nobody" in terms of the trumpet world I must admit I was quite honored to have an email to Monette returned via a phone call from the mouthpiece maker himself.

I have bought both my mouthpieces directly from Monette. I first bought the STC-B4S for my trumpet and then wanted one for my Cornet so I had them make a STC-B4SFL which is a deep "V" cup Cornet mouthpiece.

I was having some troubles adjusting to the deep "V" cup and suffered some loss of range as a result of it.

I emailed Monette and inquired if they had any suggestions they could offer me to help in getting me acclaimated to the new mouthpiece.

Dean and I spoke for about 15 minutes and he offered me several suggestions. I'm not accustomed to receiving this type of service from anyone; let alone a fine musical instrument maker that deals with honest to goodness stars as their clients as well as "nobodys" like me.

I was honored to receive such star treatment.

Just thought I'd pass it along. No matter how you feel about Monette and I must admit to some bias as I'm a customer; they definately seem to value their customers. All of them!

I know where you are coming from.

I would rather pay more money for an item and get good customer service than pay less and get some mope helping me out.

Some humorous customer service below.

40cal,

That is a funny phone call.

The sad part is I bet the police get a lot of idiots calling with problems a trivial as that. I enjoyed the 911 operator's response, "What are we protecting you from? a wrong cheeseburger?"

I wonder if the cops DID have to go there, and arrest the caller.

Thanks, that was good.

That was an adult with children who is so pathetic that she can't figure out how to handle a situation without calling a government entity to rescue her... I wonder what kind of values she's going to pass on to her kids about personal initiative. And she votes!!

She's the kind of person I'd like to sit down with and ask a bunch of questions regarding what she believes about a variety of issues. Can you imagine the responses she'd give regarding judgement situations?

She called 911 about a flipping meal for her kids. 911! I'm so fascinated to understand how the minds of people like that work. Wouldn't you just love to hear a complete rationalization of her actions? The mind boggles...

The best part to me, and we hear this all the time.....

"I'm not moving until they get it right" (paraphrase)

"I will call the police because I want my hamburger right."

Police: "You need to go in there and act like an adult"

Lunatic: "But she is not acting like an adult herself"

What can you say???

That was halarious "Ma'am you get you money back and go on your way, OK bye bye - click"

You know that 911 dispatcher was in disbelief...

Too funny!
