| Decent arrangements of Rod Stewart's Great American Song Book??? Does anyone know if there is a decent book containing arrangements of the Rod Stewart Great American Songbook volumes 1-4? Our church will be doing a show in the spring and our Priest is a very fine vocalist. Last year we did a few Michael Bubble tunes and I had to arrange them from scratch. This year we want to do a few tunes from the standards, and I thought that the Rod Stewart arrangements would be a good start. This is something I really enjoy doing for him. It is a break away from his "normal life as a Priest". This guy is really good, and he probably could have had a very fine career in music, but chose to dedicate his life to the church. By the way -- yes -- we do pay for rights for songs. I refuse to steal the tunes for a show, especially in a church setting. |
