Cool site . Ya, Agent 86 is gone, sad but true. I did voice impressions when I was a teen and wanted to be voice over artist. Don Adam's agent 86 was among my best. But then the Trumpet called and my fate was decided

Goodbye Don... you made me laugh. My favorite bit was the "Cone of Silence".

DA trivia; what TWO separate cartoon characters were voiced by Don Adams (and cryin' out loud, don't google it!).?

I couldn't take it Manny. I did google it but will take a vow of silence. To me the greatest thing about DA is that he joined the marines and served at Guadalcanal during the war. Now THAT impresses me!

Doesn't anyone remember the episode where he had to play trumpet. The control lab made him a trumpet that he said the name of the tuen into the leaddpipe and it played. His problem was he kept saying something like "I'm getting sentimental Over you " to a girl and the trumpet would play by itself

Wow!! Obviously a prediction of the electronic bugle now in use by the military for playing "Taps" at funerals.

What was the long-awaited event that happened in that episode and what were the circumstances?
