![]() | A dream job for me!!! I wish I had enough money to start a music store of my own so that I could act as an agent for Eclipse, Harrelson, Kanstul, Lawler, Taylor, Callichio, Schilke, Callet, Blackburn, Monette, and Flip Oakes. I'm sure there are a couple others that I'd love to have under my roof. What a retirement dream job! I would like to sell nothing but brass, mainly trumpets! I don't care if I would make a lot of money, just enough to pay the bills! I'd love to be a specialized guy who works with people to get an instrument what would be a dream horn for them. It would be so cool to have a stable of horns that people could come in and try side by side! Actually be in the business of helping people buy that special horn, and not in the business of directing people toward a certain line because I would make more money off that horn! It will never happen, but music, specifically the trumpet, has been very good to me in my life. It would be so nice to actually be able to serve the public in a non-biased, honest, not worried about profit manner! How great would it be to just sit back and allow these high quality products to sell themselves!

![]() | I always had the same thoughts but instead of brass instruments, selling guns. A buddy of mine retired from 3M, opened an art store (with the gun store in the back), obviously didn't need the money, but did it for fun. He recently closed up the gun shop but looked like it was a cool gig to have.

| Mezzo Forte User | That sounds like my Dad's dream...except he wants to open a R/C modeling hobby shop (airplanes and helicopters and stuff like that). Me...I'd love to find a job where I could make things with my hands and really bring joy to other people. Creating stuff out of bits and pieces that don't look like much and turning it into something that someone would love and use....wow. That would be great! Never give up on your dreams! Lara
