| Mezzo Piano User | easy way to put stuff on the internet I've been writing music since I was about 5 years old. When I first started, it was mostly just stuff I would randomly play on the piano and I'd write it down. But the last couple years, I think I've gotten pretty good at this whole composition thing. I signed up on that MySpace website and I got music site to post some of my pieces on, but it will only allow 4 at a time, and most of my pieces are to big to fit on there. Does anyone know of a better place where I can do this? I know I could just make my own website and everything, but I have no idea how to go about that. Maybe something like that youtube.com site, except for audio files instead of videos... Any ideas? By the way, www.myspace.com/davidjacquesmusic is the site I have some pieces on if you are curious to what my stuff is like. Thanks, David

![]() ![]() | David, A website might be the best way to go. They're not as difficult to create as you might think, although I'm still learning. Many companies offer templates for websites, so you pay them 10 or 15 bucks a month for hosting and they give you all the tools you need to creat a pretty nice looking site. Thats what I did on my site: www.jimi-michiel.com Hope this is at least a little bit helpful. Good luck with the composing thing. It's great that you're taking an interest in a non-performance aspect of music. The more you can learn, and the more well rounded you are as a musician, the more you will enjoy and love making and listening to music. Best wishes, Jimi
