| Echo Company FT. Benning http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/multi...ens/index.html This is a neat presentation put together by the local newspaper on how ARMY soldiers are fitted for their "Class A's" or dress uniforms at the end of boot camp. It's pretty cool! |

| Forte User | Thanks, John! I have a former student down there right now...he's in F company. Probably going through about the same thing; he started his basic in July. Some of those kids look sooooo young... |

| Looks like some real attention is given to fitting these guys. I always heard that Army uniforms came in just two sizes........... Too large and too small. |

I look at these young men and then I make the mistake of looking in a mirror and it ocours to me S*** I'm getting old! I have gray hairs etc... Lines on the face... It's something when you realize that your twice there age! I am most grateful for their service to our great nation. I sleep real well at night knowing that 30,000 Soldiers are at Ft. Benning just 5 miles south of my house. Nothing like a little Armor to put you in the comfort zone eh? They are something to watch too. Every now and again my wife, children and I will go on base and watch these guys and gals jump out of airplanes and towers and everything else. Such enthuiasm! I pity anyone who becomes an enemy of the state! | |
