Enternal Rest be granted To my TM Friends.... My family and I received so many kind thoughts/words/prayers over the past 6 months with regards to my father and the unfortunate accident he suffered back in January. I only post this here because there were so many people kind enough to share genuine concern and well wishes for me and my family. Today my father lost his fight and passed away! I know he is now walking alongside Jesus and he suffers no more. This was the last photo taken of him while he was healthy. RIP pops we all love you! ![]() Ronald Sheets 4/02/45 DOB 6/08/07 At rest Last edited by Eclipsehornplayer : 06-09-2007 at 12:35 AM.

Re: Enternal Rest be granted Thanks for sharing the picture of your Dad with us. It took me a couple years to get used to my Dad being gone. 7 years later I still miss him but have some great memories. Take care of yourself. I'll add a prayer for your Dad and family tonight.

Re: Enternal Rest be granted Hi, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I lost my father, and my hero, on December 28, 2002 . . . and there's never a day I don't think of him. Actually, there's never a moment he leaves my heart. I know what you are going through too right now, and I'll be praying that the Lord will hold you all up. The joy I had at Dad's funeral was in knowing without a doubt that he was with my mom, once again, and in Heaven. I look forward to seeing them again both one day too!!! Until then, I've got folks depending on me here, and my dad lives . . . through me. Focus on your wonderful father's times you had with joy! He'd want you to do that! Be prayin' for ya bro . . . ! Warmest regards, Tom Turner

It is a wonderful thing about being Christian, knowing that your Dad can still continue to enjoy all of the wonderful things in your life - without suffering. We are also the legacy of our parents. Let the the trumpet sound and your light shine! Robin |

Re: Enternal Rest be granted John, You and yours are in my prayers. Wonderful photo of your Dad. And, he's got a very good son. May He support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done! Then in His Mercy may He give us a safe lodging and a holy rest and peace at the last. Condolences, Richard Oliver Last edited by Richard Oliver : 06-09-2007 at 10:32 AM.
