| Fortissimo User | Ever Wonder... What a frosted tree looks like close-up? We had another ice fog last night and woke up this morning to a "fairy land". I got this picture out the front window of the house: zoomed in on a few branches of the tree in the front yard. Those sparkly things are the early-morning sun reflecting through the crystals. ![]() |

| Fortissimo User | Very nice, Chuck. There are a couple of pear trees over by the lake (I know... what the heck is a pear tree doing up here besides freezing it's buds off?) I didn't think to go out and get a shot of it with frost around the leaves although I've got a great pic in autumn when the colours changed. ![]() |

| I am quite the winter wonderland faerie and would move back north in a NY minute. Those pictures are very pretty Chuck and Toots. Thanks for sharing them. Dreaming of making snow angels again......someday. AY |

| Here's a little taste of Alabama. I'm not sure what kind of flowers these are, but they're blooming on two small trees next to our front porch. Also, the dogwoods are starting to bloom. I'll see if I can get some pictures of those in the next few days. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Ahhhhhhhh. Thanks Toots and Chuck, nothing like a reminder of what cold really looks like. I sometimes miss the northern climate but as I look on the weather channel and see Michigan at 30 degrees and Columbus, GA at 74 degrees well I gotta tell you I'm just Peachy right here... I even got a little sun burn yesterday working in the yard... Ahhh Spring in the south... |
