These made me laugh very hard. I can't wait to share them with my Navy buddy.

Manny, I caught the all american program on July 23rd. Great playing as usual. The Copland "Card Game" solo was spectacular. As was the Gershwin solo. Inspiring as always. I would have come back to say hello, but I was with three very hungry women, and they really wanted food at Brit's. Glad you are back,

Love that one. Some of them make me fear...humour has a grain of truth, does it not? I have a student going into the armed forces next July after he graduates. Wants to be in special ops. I think about him while reading these. I will share them with him when school starts!

What may seem idiotic, is actually practical. Just ask any serviceman about their basic training. There will usually be some stories about some idiot that did something stupid. Hence, big, simple labels on some weapons, and a plethora of informative statements like Manny posted.

I have been shot at twice in my life. Both by soldiers who had been trained on the M-1911 .45 cal pistol. Both were clearing their weapons at the time; and both shots missed my head by inches.
