Those were the real Hummers that any man would want to ride in. The new ones are just a marketing scheme the GMC(right company?). There is the H2, H2 SUT, and the soon to be released H3, it is like an Explorer only it does not role over as much and has different suspension.

Hope that cleared stuff up,

Man I lover Hummers! Not so much the H2 or the rest of that non-sense. HMMWV's are a nice vehicle too! I love riding in them. Not the greatest ride on the road but once you get her off road, it's all good. The M-35A2C (duce and half) was my vehicle of chose in Iraq.

HMMWV (High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) for those that actually wondered what it stood for. The military is all about those acronyms. Also AM General makes the HMMWV and GMC makes the Hummer.

Yeah, in the Army we pronounce HMMWV as "Humvee". You get looked at funny if you call them "Hummers."
