We have been lamenting about young people here lately.
This story moved me...

He said he didn't join any clubs or athletics at school because he wanted to be near her. He also skipped parties this year, his senior year, because he said his only after-school activity is "taking care of my mom."

I give the newspaper a lot of credit for publishing a story like that instead of the usual negative garbage or, at least, alongside it. Could you kep track of the story if there's any follow up. I mean, if the family needs money to send this boy to college it certainly would be good to know about it.

Yeah, kids get trashed a lot and it's nice to read about that kind of devotion to his mom.

Stunned..... what a great story! I wish I could meet that kid. I bet he turns out to be a great person 20-years from now! In fact, in my opinion he's a pretty great person now.

Wow. Thanks for posting that Chuck.

My mom is a hospice nurse, and I don't know how she does it. She says that you really see something pure about people when someone they love is dying.
