![]() | Guitar hero why would someone want to play simulation of guitar playing. thats ridicolous. Computer plus original game cost as much as real guitar, maybe even more. I really see no reason for that. Utter waste of time. It is not like racing simulation where real racing car costs you 1000 times more than computer game. |

The irony of this is - if people spent the same amount of time practicing guitar as they did on the game they could be a guitar hero.

I have no time for this type of "entertainment". I don't want everybody to have a double C. I want them to have musical BRAINS first. Those are not developed online!

![]() | Re: Guitar hero I've never actually played Guitar Hero, but I think part of what would be fun is that I could "play" music that I like but can never really be involved in playing the trumpet. I don't really want to be a guitar player. The time it would take to learn and practice isn't worth it to me. I can only really put that kind of effort into a few of things in life (trumpet being one), and right now that number is full. But maybe it's fun to "play" that Beatles or Green Day song that I like, but would sound stupid to play on the trumpet. Is it instant gratification? Maybe, but I have other things in my life that are basically lifetime projects with no shortcuts (trumpet!), so whats the harm in having fun with some friends once in a while and playing Guitar Hero?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Guitar hero I don't have the Guitar Hero game - but I do have the Trumpet Hero Tee shirt. #1 Son has a Tuba Hero Tee shirt and a Cowbell Hero Tee shirt, #2 Son has Trombone Hero on his, and my brother has Bagpipe Hero. None of these make us play any better but we can wear them and still watch the TV, and there is no noise polution.
