I was just wondering how many of you out there make New Year's resolutions concerning trumpet playing. Happy New Year from Iraq!

Resolutions relating to trumpet playing - to be the best player I can.
To continue to give my best to my students - they deserve it.

To go and see Leigh more often and (hopefully) finally purchase one of his creations.

Anybody else catch the PBS broadcast of the Vienna Phil's annual NY concert? They made a nice gesture at the end... did NOT play their encore piece of the Radetzky March (where the audience "helps" the conductor). More significantly they donated somewhere around $150,000 to the tsunami relief fund.

Another great concert by an incredible orchestra..... but (sigh) female musicians need not apply apparently. Wish they didn't shut down in the summer, I'd love to take my kids to see/hear them live.

Happy New Year everyone.

Hi Mike, I believe Leigh said he was going abroad for Christmas, so I would guess he's still spending some time with his family.

I think I should make buying an Eclipse a new year's resolution too - I'm sure it will happen one of these days.

Jack.
