| Happy St. Patty's Day! Who's been celebrating today? I did a parade this morning - there were revelers already drinking by 9:30am! I did some celebrating this afternoon - what about you all? |

| Re: Happy St. Patty's Day! So, replying to my own post.....I've celebrated too much to practice today, so I think it may be time to go to my garage and enjoy a Cuban cigar - how has/will any of you enjoy St. Patty's? I haven't smoked a cigar in several months so it will be nice to enjoy a treat from my humidor:) |

![]() | Re: Happy St. Patty's Day! I played an African themed orchestra concert... Saint Saens Egyption (piano) Concerto, Aida, and a couple of other things I can't think of right now. There may have been a little celebrating after... |

| Re: Happy St. Patty's Day! This evening I play a concert with the Zeeland,Mi. Community Concert Band. I will be the featured trumpet on Banks And Braes Of Bonnie Doon. Because I don't own, nor have I ever played, a flugel, which the chart is written for, I will be using a Crown Royal bag as a tone softener to 'somewhat' simulate a flugel. OLDLOU>> |

My swing band played a "gig" at a nice nursing home down in Lawton. Did an hour and a half in a nice, warm place, then out to a cold rain. The residents seemed to enjoy our music, with vocalist and "danced" around by means of activity director turning their wheelchairs. Fun and rewarding gig to do. Don't drink, but played Irish music all day, to be sure! | |
