| What blows me away is how the Dems wasted a valuable filibuster on somebody that was an obvious lock. What was the "strategery" of that move? In the old days, a filibuster was something you pulled out when you knew it would be effective because the politicos were reluctant to invoke cloture. So, I just thought it was dumb on their part. I think Alito will be just fine. ML |
