| Re: Hey Siegtrpt That's Herbert L. Clarkes grave with John Phillip Sousa's grave in the background. It located in Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC near RFK stadium. Rog says we know each other. Falls Church or Woodson? Send me a PM. Last edited by Siegtrmpt : 06-14-2007 at 10:33 PM. |

| Re: Hey Siegtrpt I'm not sure what is the coolest... To be buried at the Congressional Cemetery or To have Clarke and Sousa buried at the Congressional Cemetery. Next time I'm back I'll have to go check that out Bill, during the day of course. I don't mind being buried there; just don't want to be killed there! Maybe the area around RFK has improved... it has been a long time since I've been there. |

| Re: Hey Siegtrpt No doubt that's a tough part of town.......even for the Marines. On a happier note.....my Mom saved all my old HS programs and, sure enough, Bandman, Rogerio, Scott Forey and Jon Lewis are all there in a few of the District bands. That was a pretty good crew. | Re: Hey Siegtrpt Very cool Bill, maybe you can scan some of those and send them to us. Take a few minutes and look for Jeff Work's name. He was in the mix I think. I'm thinking we both beat Jon Lewis out a few years... small claim to fame... but great bragging rights considering where he is today...LOL. Who cares it was 30+ years ago.... |
