 | That comic almost perfectly describes the New Monopoly, the show band that I play with.  Seriously, part of my pay comes not from playing, but in being there early for load-in, and staying late until load-out is complete. And the part about feeling like I've been punched in the mouth for four hours, well, that has nothing to do with the sound system, but rather that the book is a tough book and you are nailing it to the wall for three sets. I'm going to forward that link to my band leader. :wink: |
