![]() | How can you record a live stream to CD? I love to listen to http://www.radiomargaritaville.com/listen.aspx but I don’t have sirius radio so I can’t listen to it in my car. Is there a way to record the stream onto CD so I can listen to it in my car? Sometimes you are just not in the mood for a normal CD, and you want light hearted non-serious music that is just fun! I find that radio margaritaville provides that as well as any venue I’ve ever found.

| New Friend | If you have a copy of cd burning softrware like Roxio or Nero then it probably has a sound recorder. Whatever piece of software you do have, you should be able to use that to record it as a wav or mp3 file(mp3 might be best for HD space sake) and then you can burn it when you're done.Windows also has a sound recorder but I never had much success with it.

| Fortissimo User | I have Roxio but don't recommend it for recording "off air". However, I recently put a "Soundblaster" 24bit card in my computer (Creative Labs) and it comes with some unique "add-ons" including the ability to record "what you hear". The downside is that it records in wav format which can be "rather large" and you'd want to convert to mp3 (selectable levels). |
