I hate my weed wacker!

I go to fire it up for the first time of the season and the starter cord won't return

Mr. Semman is an unknown quantity at this point
Sounds like the recoil spring came unsprung. After years of mowing and weed whacking, our new home has now lawn. I put down the wood chips that were made during clearing our lot. I just bought a woodchipper to work from my tractor, so I can clean up our woods (all 12 acres) and replenish those that were spread. I do have a weed whacker, but it came with a brush cutter, so I use that to clear out brambles and such.

Have fun working on your tool. They always seem to fall apart, just when we need them.

You have the memory of an elephant mania Ya that mower almost took me out. I forgot about that.

Good news on the Weed Wacker. I bought the POS at Wal Mart and I got what I paid for. So I went in there with the Weed Wacker (no box and no receipt) and put it on their returns desk. After a little hassle they gave me a new one. So now I have a new POS but I saved the box and receipt so when this one breaks there should be less of a problem!
