![]() | I'D HAVE TO KILL MYSELF . . . I think I'd have to kill myself if I had to play two chord rock and roll like the Rolling Stones are cursed to play until they die. It must truly suck to be cursed to the same 2-chord "repertoire for 45 years straight and counting. Jeez . . . did they suck at the Stupor Bowl . . . a bunch of sixty-year olds entertaining folks who probably can only "connect" to bands that play two chords REAL LOUD! I hated those numbskulls when they first came out . . . and still do. Heck, does American Idol have an age limit? Tom |

![]() | Um, I think the Stones could qualify for the Senior Citizen version of American Idol.....just barely. I am with you Tom, I would have to borrow your gun if I were sentenced to two chords for the rest of my life. LOL. |

![]() | Of course from a financial aspect, how much are they being paid for those two chords?

Yes Greg, they are one of the all-time greatest garage bands, I must admit. I do like a handful of their songs. "Can you hear me knockin'" is one of my favs. | |

| Pianissimo User | For the kind of money they pay the Stones to play their two chords, I would be happy to get onstage and recite Vogon poetry. When it comes to musicians performing on (inter)national television these days, it's really not about the music, it's just about the Benjamins. Ah, those sweet Benjamins. Dump truck after dump truck full of Benjamins... - Paul Artola Ellicott City, Maryland |

![]() | Yeah I had to laugh... I looked at Mick Jager and I told my wife e-gads he looks like a skelaton with clothes on! And Keith Richards still looks like he's been using two pounds of blow per day yikes... I can see it now Superbowl 50 See the Rolling Stones in their wheelchairs.. I think I would have appreciated some different musical stylings. I wonder what Janet and Justin were up to?
