If you could play a gig with anyone Who would it be? The person doesn't have to be a trumpet player, or alive. Mine would be Al hirt, if I could just go back in time a play one gig with him.......

I'd love to sit in Ellington's trumpet section from the fifties, Cat, Clark, Shorty baker and Ray Nance. Or with Miles Davis. Alive: I'd like to play either with Sonny Rollions or try to find something to say with Wayne Shorter. Michael McLaughlin Bore, n. A person who talks when you wish him to listen. Ambrose Bierce

I have two answers: I most want to play with Mr. Vacchiano. Just look at the trumpet players he turned out. I don't know if I want to play a job with him, just duets for a couple of hours. I just want to talk to Mozart.
