ITG elections

For those of you who are ITG members, there is an election going on for board and officer positions. At risk of sounding like shameless self-promotion (which it is), I would ask that you consider voting for both Joe Bowman (I believe he frequents this site) and me for the Board of Directors. We would both bring new ideas and hard work to the ITG board, and I think I can speak for Joe in saying that we would be very happy to serve in this way.

Regardless of whether you vote for either of us - please vote! I'm told that the percentage of members who vote is typically very low.

Thanks!

You must buy me a beer if you are elected.

Sounds great Del. Care to compare and contrast? I'm an ITG member and would love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks,

Richard

The Ballot Bios sheet is included with the latest ITG journal.

Seven out of sixteen. Your chances are pretty good Del. Good luck!

Re: ITG elections

ok - hopefully I can answer all these questions. The "I" in ITG stands for "international" - Not "in" the United States only. I am a huge supporter of making ITG more internationally oriented. (This is scaring me - I sound much too political.) I went to the conference in Sweden, and also to ITG-related conferences in Germany and Kiev and I've been lucky to make some great friends overseas. Nothing would make me happier than to see our membership grow in European and Asian countries, and Australia and Canada. I would love to discover new ways to make this happen! My years as Membership Coordinator and Young Artist Award coordinator give me a unique perspective into the workings of ITG. I believe I can make a difference.

And stchasking, beers are on me if I'm elected!
