It's Raining Concert Halls

New York Times article - "In Cities Across the United States, It's Raining Concert Halls"

Hopefully my fair city will take a clue and renovate/rebuild our old jalop, in which patrons were almost literally rained on during our performances of Haydn's Creation two seasons ago.

See also related NY Times article - "New Halls, by the Numbers"

I'm glad they are christening some of the new halls with Mahler. Great choice!

It would be great to hear from any of you who are going to perform at or attend these opening performances. I'd like to hear about your overall impression of the hall, acoustics, etc. Wish I could be there!
