![]() ![]() ![]() | jazz solo Over the weekend I went to a party at my brothers house. He told me that there would be a lot of musicians there and he hired a piano player. He suggested that I bring a trumpet and play a tune for everyone and other people would also do the same. I am not really a jazz improviser so I picked a simple song and practiced it. "I can't give you anything but love" When I got there the guy was really good so I waited until everyone had drinks and asked the guy if I could play a tune with him. I went to the car and got my trumpet, went up there and told him the tune and he said, "I don't know that one"
