I'm having a rehearsal for breakfast and an outdoor concert for dinner!

Happy Independence Day, Yanks, Southerners, Midwesterners, Texans, Prarie folk, Westerners, Pacific Northwesterners, Alaskans, and Hawaiians!

G-d bless America!

Well, typically us Yankees will do as I do...

Everything will be preceded by my Grand Fromage - a cheese platter with a selection of cheeses including Gouda and Stilton.

We will start with Bouillabaisse served in a small expresso cup with a light, sweet cracker, followed by Foie gras terrine with piccalilli, roasted rhubarb and Coteaux du Layon gelée. This will prepare us for Baked Gloucester cod fillet with mussels and crab tamale; almond garam masala sauce, then a selection of prime beef .

All of this will culminate with my famous Grand Dessert - a selection of desserts including spring rolls with vanilla rice and grapefruit. I include a Croquembouche, a tower of cream puffs filled with vanilla pastry cream.
I will also have a selection of my family favorites including; Almond Cream Crepes, and a nice Raspberry-Almond Torte.

Don't forget a club soda spirtz to keep the palate refreshed so as not to lose any taste between courses.

That's about what we will do this afternoon.

Have a great burger!

We will be having Corbett Canyon, Canyon ,Canyon.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon to be exact, a full-bodied, dry wine displaying lush blackberry and black cherry flavors.

After all, it's just the 4th of July...no big deal.

Hmm... nice green bottle.... cork smells slightly better than an old gasoline tank .... wine appears to be the suitable colour... yes I think this will do nicely.

I work 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

I may get to stop for dinner.

If I'm lucky I may make it to the park to hear one of the local big bands.

If I'm really lucky I won't have to clean up a dead person off of the road.

I am really really lucky since I just test drove an eclipse MR trumpet. NICE HORN!
