Non Jews always seem to get into trouble trying to relate and understand Jewishness. In this case, my birthdate was on a very significant Jewish event in history of which this person completely overlooked.

I was born on Tisha B'av.

I'll let you look this up to find out what this means. It's very late and I'm very tired.
