| Re: Little hands? Quote: Yesterday at the Grand Rapids Symphony concert featuring Rich and Brandon Ridenhour on piano and trumpet, they teamed up doing this same thing. Rich was passing Brandon, who is an accomplished pianist in his own right, the 'appliances' to play the Mendelson piano concerto. It was not only well performed, but, hilarious to watch. After listening to Brandon I am convinced that he is destined to be one of the premier trumpeters of this century. He is a Julliard grad, won the 2006 ITG soloist contest while playing his own composition, plays with the Canadian Brass and tours with his concert pianist dad, starring in many concerts worldwide. His rendition of Hora Staccatto was as good as that done by Raphael Mendez, Timofei Dockshiser, or Doc Severinsen. OLDLOU>> | |
