Looking for "gigs" in Paris

Well, folks, I am not a big time world traveller as some here are, so I'm looking for ideas.

I'll be in Paris (France, not Texas) the last week of March on a long planned for family vacation. I am looking to see if there might be any interest in clinics or concerts or even club dates in the city. I'm sure I'll be able to find jam sessions that are free, but I thought I'd do some leg work and see if there are any possibilities for something that might help with the expenses for our trip.

I'm open for ideas! Felix, you've been in Europe a lot. Let me know what you know!

Thanks! Gotta beat a blizzard to my gig.

Nick

(PS: Just PM me or email me at ndrozdoff@ameritech.net)

I had only one gig in Paris (Carmina Burana) but did see some awesome musicians working the Metro stops -- totally civilized, appreciated and rewarded, unhassled by cops and out of the elements. Enjoy the food when you are there, but be careful -- they eat snails!

Nick, give Noel a holler; he works there from time to time.

Thanks for the ideas, so far, folks! I will PM Noel. Also I love to watch the S-car-go! (heh)

I'll at least have my pocket trumpet all cleaned up and with me for practice purposes. Maybe I can sit in on a Metro stop. I did that in NYC a couple of times (at the invitation of the group and I sure didn't expect any dough from them - strictly for fun).
