| Forte User | Man am I in trouble!!! So, the brother in law is in town. He takes my wife's car for the day so I lovingly drop off my wife at work this morn... day goes on and I'm running errands, etc... Then I start practicing, and practicing... phone rings around 7:30 and she says, "Hi hon, you here yet?" .... Oops, she works about 30 min from the house. I'm scrambling around, it's cold outside, lol. So, I'm in the doghouse for "forgetting" about my wife! I forgot to pick her up! HA. No, I'm not really in trouble, we are both kinda sarcastic people and she lets me know that she feels abandoned, lol. Yes, Chocalte and Flowers are on my "To Do" list today!

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Man am I in trouble!!! Tim, In my experience wives will even let YOU forget her wedding anniversary - that doesn't mean she will forget that you have forgotten. Just make it up to her every chance you get - and life is sweet. Expect the first 2 years to be the hardest - bit by bit you will find you can actually finish each others sentences.

| Forte User | Re: Man am I in trouble!!! Trumpmac... I'm an interesting soul? Can you explain please. What do you mean... I did end up grilling a candlelight and fireplace dinner along with the chocolate and flowers. All's well in the Bear Den. Thanks for the sage words Ted. Not to worry about our first two years. We were made for each other. I've known her all my life, I knew what I was getting into when I asked for her hand. Tim

| Forte User | Re: Man am I in trouble!!! HAHA Sofus... My wife isn't a musician so she probably wouldn't understand. However, one time back when we were dating, she was in the kitchen and I came up behind her to hug her and she said, "Thank you, Next!" HAHAHAHA. (She heard it as a joke among musicians at a dinner we went too).
