| Maynard: Uncle Joe Shannon 1978 Has anybody seen this movie? I heard that Maynard is doing the trumpet playing on the soundtrack. If you have seen it how is it and does The Boss do alot of playing on it. Thanks |

| Pianissimo User | the movie is OK. Sappy story with some predictable plot twists. Maynard does not appear in the movie, but his sound does. The guy that played Rocky's brother-in-law Pauly is the main guy Joe Shannon. The playing is pretty good from what I remember, but nothing so kick ass awesome you need to buy the soundtrack. |

| I'll have to agree that the movie's pretty sappy. But Maynard wrote a lot of the score and plays through the whole thing. Title and credits are probably the best parts. I'll have to get the album out and listen to it. I don't think you'll ever find it on a cd. The movie may be on dvd in the $9.99 bin, though. |
