Maynard: Uncle Joe Shannon 1978

Has anybody seen this movie? I heard that Maynard is doing the trumpet playing on the soundtrack. If you have seen it how is it and does The Boss do alot of playing on it. Thanks

the movie is OK. Sappy story with some predictable plot twists. Maynard does not appear in the movie, but his sound does. The guy that played Rocky's brother-in-law Pauly is the main guy Joe Shannon. The playing is pretty good from what I remember, but nothing so kick ass awesome you need to buy the soundtrack.

I'll have to agree that the movie's pretty sappy. But Maynard wrote a lot of the score and plays through the whole thing. Title and credits are probably the best parts. I'll have to get the album out and listen to it. I don't think you'll ever find it on a cd. The movie may be on dvd in the $9.99 bin, though.
