| Fortissimo User | Dang it! Just a little too far from Montreal these days. Used to live on the South Shore (heck.. lived downtown for a while....). First wife was living on Cote de Niege when we met. Great pigs knuckles at the brasserie on the East side of Phillips Square (or whatever they're calling it these days). |

I played racquetball with Paul when I was at Eastman and he was principal with the Rochester Philharmonic. I was also lucky enough to hear him perform the Tomasi live with them. I remember all of us in the trumpet studio being nervous for him. You could just feel it in the air. That piece is a big undertaking with an orchestra and he did a great job. It sounds like you guys are going to have a blast Ed. I wish I could hear it. Congratulations, good luck with it all and enjoy! Make sure to tell us how things are going with your baton and Paul's trumpet. | |
