| I lived on the Isle of Man (search for Isle of Man TT races!) for 7 years or so and have always regretted not getting a bike! It would be so much handier (trafficwise) now that I've moved to London. I'm limited to trips on the back of my brothers bike in Ireland (Honda Shadow). Also, married now, so I don't think a bike is allowed, maybe not until I'm all grown up, maybe when I'm 40, mid life crisis etc I'll settle for my nice comfy BMW 5 Series in the mean time! |

| I have four bikes. only one is not a crotch rocket-- my reliable BMW '94 K75s. It's at santa monica airport. It won't start. My crotch rockets are-- a '87 Suzuki Walter Wolf version RG 500. (four cylinder two stroke) a '86 Honda NSR 250RR from Holland-- not street legal but is a euro street legal. a '90 Yamaha YSR black and grey. All these bikes look like GP racers but with lights. I like bikes man. |

| Aside from lusting for that Ducati ... I fondly remember a cool bike that I never should have sold -- a BSA GoldStar (500cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke ... affectionately known as a "Thumper"). This bike was amazing ! Had a "compression-release lever", and if you were not adept at the proper technique for kick-starting this beast, up-&-over the handlebars you went ... or you broke your leg.
