And you folks think that trumpet players pay insane sums of money for an old Bach NY mouthpiece!? Check out this ad for a tenor sax m/p... sure, it claims to have been played by Sonny Rollins... but take a look at the bid list! There are quite a few folks taking a run at this one. I think the final price will be very interesting.

The guy did his homework. The price is insane. But eBay is the world's marketplace. Amazing.

Awhile ago, I saw an ad for the sax Bill Clinton played at the Inaugural Ball, with the mouthpiece and reed!
It wasn't nearly as credible as this guy though.
Plus they were charging 10k for it.
