| From my Alaskan Vacation Some of you may have seen this posted on TH, but I wanted to share them here as well. If you have never had the chance to go to Alaska you should put it on your "things I need to do before I die" list. It was beautiful, and the people were even nicer than the scenery was beautiful! I'm putting up a complete trip report on my website. I'll post a link after I'm done so I don't take up any more space on this forum. The Mendenhall Glacier An Alaskan Sunset |

| Great Pics! Those waters look great to sail on. Which way to the Panama Canal? Oh yeah, head south and turn right. Welcome home. Gary |

I've never really had the urge to cruise the canal. I have no idea why? I have family and friends that have done it and loved it. I would like to eventually do a smaller ship or even a barge cruise in Europe. I understand that the German cruises are wonderful. Right now I'm getting ready for a San Francisco Thanksgiving and Estes Park for New Years. Life is short and I'm trying to "smell all the flowers" I can! | |

| The scenery up there is awesome. Like Dave Barry said, the mountains in Alaska are so huge that if you put any one of them in the Midwest somewhere, the locals would quit their jobs and form cults and worship it. |
