Next Years National Anthem/Super Bowl Ok we all know about the bad play calling and everything but Arron Neville and Aretha Franklins rendition of our Anthem was not very moving. When you listen to it you feel proud to be an American, want to sing or even hum along with it mabey it even brings a tear to the eyes of some. So a poll for next years Anthem. I am only listing Trumpet Players for obvious reasons. I have always enjoyed the National Anthem played on the trumpet. There are so many I could add to the poll but these came to mind in order as I sat here typing.

Susan Slaugheter. She does it quite a bit a Cardinals games and does it really well, be good for her to get the national exposure that she really deserves

| Pianissimo User | Gotta love how all the players are trumpeters. IMO, the pol would be better if we actually knew who they were thinking of for next year, and we could vote on their list. I personally would love to see Candy Dulfer play, but thats me |

Yhea your right I did not look at it as a "what country are you from" point of view more of just a performer standpoint

How about a really great arrangement with Empire Brass, or the American Brass Quintet, or go big with Summit Brass? Now that would be a moving experience!
